We feel extremely honoured that our guests rated us in HolidayCheck as one of the most popular hotels worldwide.
Based on their feedback, this Special Award demonstrates the outstanding service and quality for which Elysium Resort & Spa is known for several years, establishing it among the top of hospitality businesses around the globe. We would like to thank all our guests for their continued support and positive comments, but equally all members of our team for their effort throughout this really demanding season. We assure you all that we will continue our efforts to provide the highest level of hospitality for the years to come.
As HolidayCheck states: “2022 is the second edition of the HolidayCheck Special Award. This year, too, hotels will be honored that have done an outstanding job in the eyes of HolidayCheck vacationers despite the special circumstances. Based on the opinions of over 360,000 vacationers, a total of 619 hotels from 27 countries can look forward to the coveted award. In Greece, there are again a host of winning hotels with 49 Special Awards.”
.
About the HolidayCheck Special Award: For the 17th time in total, the HolidayCheck Award is presented to hotels that are particularly popular with holidaymakers. Due to the ongoing exceptional situation, the “HolidayCheck Special Award” will also be presented for the second time. This implies that in 2022 the award criteria will again be adapted to the special situation in which the travel industry has found itself since the beginning of the pandemic. The number of ratings required for a nomination is 25. The period of one year, (December 1, 2020, to November 30, 2021) in which the reviews must be submitted and published, remains the same. The average recommendation rate of at least 90 percent, which the hotel reviews must achieve, also remains unchanged. Of course, the hotels must also comply with the Code of Conduct for the HolidayCheck Special Award. It is important to note that the award is decided solely
based on holidaymakers’ ratings. HolidayCheck has no influence on the award. To ensure the authenticity of the reviews, they all pass through the verification system. In addition, HolidayCheck is working hard across the industry to ensure that reviews on the internet are authentic and trustworthy with its “Together Against Fake Reviews” initiative. As in the previous year, there will still be no HolidayCheck Gold Award in 2022. The reason: Many destinations and hotels were only able to receive a few guests or none at all due to changes in entry regulations and temporary lockdowns. To maintain equal opportunities and avoid unfair advantages, the HolidayCheck Gold Award will be suspended again this year.
